Today is International Day of the tropics. It stands as a chance for us to consider the beautiful landscape and great ecological systems of the region, as well as recognise the threats that it faces. As part of our Give It A Grow and Environmental protection campaigns, we have pledged to plant 2 Million Mangrove trees over the next 3 years. These are a fantastic natural defence against flooding, and are a great way to remove dangerous gases from the atmosphere. Did you know a single square mile of mangroves takes in the annual carbon emissions of 90,000 cars?
