One Festival - Different Names Makar Sankranti is celebrated in different manners across India. Bengalis make sweets, Telugus burn old items of the house, Punjabis create a bonfire. In short, we welcome the new season of harvest in different styles, but with a single notion of joy. It is also our Dharma towards the society, the whole world and all the living beings besides our own family to help the needy and poor with the basic necessities of life - food, warm clothes, education, etc on this special occasion. Through a simple act of donation (dana) one can spread joy among the deprived people and enrich our own self. Wishing you all a Happy Sankranti, Lohri, Pongal, Uttarayan, Bhogi, Bihu Pongal, Bhogi, Bihu 🧡
